The Heckler & Koch P30 is a hammer-fired, service-oriented semi-automatic pistol built around an ergonomic, interchangeable grip system with multiple backstraps and lateral grip panels to fit a wide range of shooters. The polymer frame features a MIL-STD-1913 (Picatinny) accessory rail and a roughened grip texture for secure handling.
Available in multiple trigger configurations (CDA/LEM and DA/SA) the P30 family includes models with a manual decocker (V3) and S-model variants with ambidextrous manual safeties. The design uses a modified Browning short-recoil locking system, a nitro-carburized machined slide and a polygonal bore profile.
Factory sights are fixed, high-contrast/open-style sights (contrast points) and magazine capacities for the family include 15, 17 and 20 rounds depending on configuration. The pistol incorporates multiple internal safeties including automatic hammer and firing-pin safeties and is offered in a corrosion-resistant blued finish.
