The VP9A1 K is the compact member of Heckler & Koch’s VP9A1 family, built around a 4.09 in hammer-forged barrel and a shortened frame that accepts a flush-fit 15-round magazine. The A1 upgrades include an improved nickel-Teflon coated trigger bar, enhanced ambidextrous controls, additional front and rear maritime slide serrations, interchangeable side panels and backstraps with adjustable length of pull, and a factory-flared magwell for smoother reloads.
Optics-equipped variants ship with a factory-installed Holosun SCS retain a high-visibility tritium front sight with a black serrated rear. The VP9A1 K is optics-ready and uses a Browning-type modified linkless locking system with multiple internal safeties (trigger safety and firing-pin safety operating at 90° to one another).
