The GLOCK 17 Gen5 is a full-size polymer-frame pistol from GLOCK's fifth generation. The Gen5 frame removes finger grooves and accepts interchangeable backstraps for a customizable grip. The design includes a flared magwell and a front cutout on the frame to speed reloads, a reversible enlarged magazine catch, and an ambidextrous slide stop lever.
Built around GLOCK's Safe Action® system, the G17 Gen5 is chambered in 9x19 mm with a 114 mm (4.49 in) barrel and a standard 17-round magazine capacity. The pistol ships with polymer line-of-sight sights and carries the dimensional and weight characteristics published by GLOCK for the Gen5 full-size model.
