At first glance, they look identical. But, there are two subtle differences. First, on the Model 30SF the grip is shorter, front to back, at the top, allowing a shorter reach to the trigger (and requiring a different trigger housing for the SF models). Second, the "hump" toward the bottom of the back strap is reduced compared to the Glock Model 30. Both have the effect of reducing the overall front-to-back grip length, but the difference in the back strap also changes the feel of the back strap in the hand ever so slightly. The attached photo will further illustrate the subtle distinction between the Model 30 and Model 30SF. This firearm must be shipped to an FFL.
