The GLOCK 17 V is a full-size 9x19 mm pistol engineered for maximum capacity and performance with a full-length slide and frame. It incorporates a flared mag-well and a cutout at the front of the frame to speed reloads, a reversible magazine catch, and an ambidextrous slide stop lever to accommodate left- and right-handed operators.
The pistol features the GLOCK Marksman Barrel (GMB), an nDLC surface finish, front slide serrations, and the SAFE ACTION® System — three passive, independently operating mechanical safeties that disengage sequentially as the trigger is pulled and automatically re-engage when released.
Technical data include a standard magazine capacity of 17 (optional: 19 / 24 / 31 / 33), a 114 mm (4.49 in) barrel length, an overall length of 202 mm (7.95 in), and a weight without magazine of 590 g (20.81 oz).
