The GLOCK G23 Gen5 is a compact .40 S&W pistol sized for both open and concealed carry. It ships with a 4.02 in (102 mm) GLOCK Marksman barrel and a standard 13-round magazine capacity. The pistol uses GLOCK's Safe Action® system.
As a Gen5 model it includes Gen5 features such as an nDLC corrosion-resistant finish, ambidextrous slide stop, reversible magazine catch and the Gen5 frame technology (modular backstrap system). The frame includes an accessory mounting rail forward of the trigger guard for lights/lasers.
