Desert Eagle MK I .44 Mag Steel Frame 6 in Mfg. 1993 Exc

Here is an earlier Israel Military Industries / Magnum Research .44 Magnum semi-auto pistol manufactured, by our vague recollection of selling it new in years past, some time in the early 1990s. It is one of the first series of IMI Produced Eagles made between 1986 and 1995. This is probably a Mark I, since its original stainless magazine is dated November 1993. Serial number is 106,000 range. The extra factory magazine, matte blue, is dated July of 1995. The magazines nicely bookend the production period of the first Desert Eagles, This is the matte blued, steel frame variant on the earlier .44 frame, not on the .50 frame. This pistol is in Excellent Condition. Its only surface detractions are slight weakness to the matte finish on the slide at its sharp points, and these are barely visible. Bore, chamber, magazines, and gas system are bright, clean, and Excellent. Insertion and ejection buffing on the magazine is minimal, so we estimate this pistol has been fired fewer than 200 rounds. Factory specs are as follows: overall length 10.6 inches; height 5.7 inches; width 1.25 inches; 8.5 inch sight radius; weight 66.9 oz empty; barrel is 6 inch with 1 in 18 polygonal rifling; 8 + 1 capacity. Trigger pull on this specimen gauges 9 pounds with a travel that feels like a two position trigger. It has not been tampered with, and is in its original configuration. This is an excellent specimen of the earlier Desert Eagles in the definitive .44 Magnum Caliber. It has its original blue magazine, and comes with a Doskocil Carrying Case.
