Manufacturer Description
The Dan Wesson DWX is a purpose-built, single-action semi-automatic pistol developed for competitive shooters. It uses a bushing-less, match-grade barrel system and a simplified linkless locked-breech design for consistent lockup and repeatable accuracy. The DWX is offered in double-stack configurations with 10+1 and 19+1 magazine capacities and ships optics-ready with an adapter plate.
The pistol features a stainless frame with DLC finishes on the frame and slide, aluminum competition-style grips (red on many factory configurations), a fiber-optic front sight and an adjustable rear sight. The design includes a swappable magazine release and broad compatibility with many 1911 and CZ-style aftermarket parts, making it easily customizable for competition and range use.
