Custom Colt Combat Commander by Lew Bonitz

A Series 70 Colt Combat Commander (steel frame), 80BS247XX, customized in 2009 by Lew Bonitz of Grizzly Custom Guns of Columbia Falls, Montana. List of modifications is too long to provide here, but the original invoice is attached for your review. Over $1300 in modifications alone to include a Kart Match barrel and bushing. The front strap is serrated to match the main spring housing shown below. Almost every part in this gun has been replaced with the highest quality parts available at the time. It comes with one fitted magazine (Colt), two spare magazines, and a padded ballistic nylon pistol case. Lew is no longer working on 1911s, but even if he were it would cost over $3000 to duplicate this gun today, including the price of the Commander. US Postal money order or certified bank check only.
