This Colt's 1911 WWI Reproduction pistol was manufactured at the Colt Custom Shop in approximately 2003. About 4000 pistols were made with production split between the less expensive black oxide guns and the historically correct Carbonia Blue units. This pistol retains 100% New In Box condition. It's markings and stamps are completely accurate and it is shipped in a unique reproduction of the original government shipping box, along with a repro manual and two magazines. This is packed into a Custom Shop box and then into the correct shipping sleeve. As with all original 1911's, this pistol features a five inch barrel, flat mainspring housing, lanyard loop and short trigger. More pictures are available upon request.
