$2350 OBO. Brand new, never opened, still in plastic bag and case. (The one pictured is my personal one and the exact same as pictured) This is the class pistol for the USMA Bicentennial class of 2002, Colt .45 1911. These are very rare and collectible. Very nice blued finish, polished on the slide of the slide and matte on the rest with gold inlay on both sides of the slide and several gold plated components (as pictured). Laser engraved rosewood grips with the West Point Crest on one side and the 2002 Class Emblem on the other.
The Bicentennial class pistol is the last year in which the engraver ever worked on West Point class pistols after several decades of service. He has since retired and been replaced with a new engraver.
The serial number is USMA02511. This is unit # 511 out of approximately 2000 units made for the 2002 Class.
