This limited-edition Colt M1911A1 World War II commemorative pistol set includes two beautifully engraved handguns honoring the European-African-Middle Eastern Theater and the Asiatic-Pacific Theater of WWII. Each pistol features a nickel finish, custom engraved slide, and unique grips based on the theater it represents. The pistols are housed in custom wooden display cases with detailed plaques and historical imagery of the surrender events—Reims, May 7, 1945, and Tokyo Bay, September 2, 1945. Each comes with original WWII-style .45 ACP dummy rounds. These collector-grade pistols are ideal for display and historical commemoration. Produced in 1970, these pistols are absolutely mint. Never fired, never cocked, slides never racked, rarely handled.
