The Colt 1911 Classic in .38 Super is a Series 70-style Government model built on Colt's Classic 1911 platform. The Classic is fitted with a 5" National Match® barrel and ships with staked front sights and a spurred hammer consistent with the Classic specification.
This Bright Stainless government-style variant is finished in a bright/stainless treatment and ships with a 9+1 capacity for .38 Super. The Classic features traditional 1911 safeties (manual thumb safety and grip safety) and the short-recoil, single-action operating system characteristic of Colt 1911 Government pistols.
