The Colt Gold Cup Trophy is a full-size 1911 competition pistol built on a stainless steel frame and slide with a 5" National Match® barrel. It ships with Colt Competition blue checkered G10 grips, a custom Colt magwell and 25 LPI checkering on the front and rear strap, and uses the Colt Series 70™ firing system.
Factory sights are a fiber-optic Novak® front and an adjustable rear; controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety and an upswept beavertail grip safety. The .38 Super Gold Cup Trophy is configured for competitive shooting with a 9+1 magazine capacity and the competition ergonomics Colt advertises for the Gold Cup line.
