The Colt Defender is a compact 1911-style semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 ACP with a 3.0 in barrel and a 7+1 single-stack capacity. This O7800XE-FDE configuration features a Flat Dark Earth (FDE) Cerakote frame paired with a black slide and G10 grip panels.
Factory features verified for this model include an aluminum alloy (lightweight) frame, Novak-style low-mount sights (2-dot, drift-adjustable rear on review/spec sheets), standard thumb and grip safeties with a Series 80 style firing pin safety, and no factory accessory rail. It is intended and marketed as a compact concealed-carry / personal defense 1911-style pistol.
