Colt 1911 WWI .45ACP A fine sample of a Colt 1911 WWI model. The gun was made in 1913 by Colt in Hartford, Connecticut and shows a low five digit serial number. All parts and wood are original. The bore is bright and shiny. A fine restoration has been performed by a renowned Colt restorer. Finished in a period correct charcoal blue. It features the early flat mainspring housing with the lanyard loop. The magazine is the original two tone, and has the lanyard loop found on these early guns. A fine edition to your Colt collection.
