Colt 1860 Army Reproduction by Navy Arms

For sale is a very early Colt 1860 Army reproduction from Navy Arms. This revolver displays very little use And has about all of it’s original finish. The barrel is marked “Navy Arms, Ridgefield, NJ. Made in Italy” The Revolver dates to 1972, with a serial # 29XXX.. The frame displays very brilliant case colors and the only evidence of use are minor marks on the cylinder from firing. It has been stored in it’s original cardboard box for years as evidenced from the brass trigger guard toning. Navy Arms was one of the original importers of high quality Colt reproductions and did not remain in business for many years. “Navy Arms” Colt copies were good quality revolvers and not easy to find. They are superior to the present day reproduction Colts and are very true to the Colt's 2nd generation percussion revolvers from Colt Mfg.
