The fit, finish, and trigger action are awesome. I cannot wait to try it out at the range. If it is anywhere near my brother-in-law’s Pointman 9 in accuracy, it will be incredibly accurate. I will report back after I have shot a couple hundred rounds through it. But, in the meantime, and based on my prior purchase of a Pointman 7, I will say that you can pay more for a pistol but you won’t really get more than you do with a Dan Wesson. I have recommended one to several of my friends. Ray – June 2, 2016: I took the plunge and bought one… ?? It is so darn tight even after 100 rounds. I clean and heavily lube it every 50 rounds until I reach 500 (as the manual recommends). Only one failure to feed at 54 rounds and another at far I’m at 250 with no malfunctions since the 2nd FTFeed, but the manual even states that this is VERY normal due to how tight the tolerances are. So don’t freak out when this happens. Be happy that you own a gun that actually needs to be loosened up instead of the other way around. Accuracy… WOW and… WOW. No words can explain how bullets disappear in the same 3 leaf clover. Period. I am now a true believer, and an official Dan Wesson fanboy… Dusty – May 13, 2016: Picked this up last week in 45ACP, I only purchase High End hardware and from what I can see this is arguably highest of the high when it comes to fit and quality of work. Looking forward to getting some trigger time, if the accuracy is anywhere near comparison to the build quality it will be impressive. Rob K – February 20, 2016: Just took transfer of 9mm Discretion – perfect fitment, weight/balance, smooth effortless slide racking, high quality workmanship within reasonable cost of semi-custom 1911 (considered Nighthawk,STI,Wilson Combat). Pending range time to confirm accuracy and functionality, with presumed high satisfaction expectations. I will report back.
