CZ Czech .32 ACP VZ-27 Wartime Unmarked VG Replacement Grips

Thanks for for their English language coverage of early 20th Century Pistols. This is a VZ-27, direct descendant of the VZ-24, probably manufactured in 1938 or 1939, and either issued without markings or, less likely, a Finnish issue bought from the German Occupation forces a bit later. Serial number is 5319xx, and all numbers match. Finish is a very nice purplish-blue patina, and surface pitting is negligible. The grips are most likely cheap plastic replacement from the 1950s, but possibly hurried wartime issue. This pistol bears no proof marks or brand name, but it is CZ Czech manufacture. Bore, chamber, mechanism and magazine are bright, clean, and excellent. Two of our gun cleaners report that this is one of the best made pistols they've ever disassembled, but one of them is of Eastern European extraction, and quite biased in that direction.
