The Browning 1911-380 Black Label Medallion Pro Compact is an 85% scale 1911-style single-action autoloading pistol chambered in .380 ACP. It uses an engineering-grade composite frame reinforced with a 7075 aluminum subframe and stainless steel slide; Black Label Medallion Pro models feature intricately checkered rosewood-style grips with the gold Buckmark medallion. The compact Medallion Pro ships with an 8-round steel magazine and is offered with combat-style or night sights and (on railed variants) a Picatinny-style accessory rail on the dust cover.
Built for controllable recoil and comfortable handling, the Medallion Pro Compact is positioned by Browning for sport shooting and lawful concealed carry/personal defense. It includes extended controls such as an extended ambidextrous thumb safety and beavertail grip safety and ships with two magazines and an ABS carry case (varies by configuration).
