The Px4 Storm Compact Type F is a compact, semi-automatic pistol in Beretta’s PX4 Storm family. It uses a rotating (rotary) barrel locked-breech design and a cold-hammer forged rotary barrel that reduces felt recoil and muzzle flip for faster follow-up shots. The Compact configuration shortens the slide and barrel for easier concealed carry while retaining the PX4’s rotary-barrel operating system.
This Type F configuration features a manual safety with a decocking function and an automatic firing-pin block (DA/SA operation). The Compact includes an accessory (Picatinny/Mil-Std-1913) rail for lights/lasers, removable front and rear sights mounted to the slide, and ships in the 9mm configuration with a 10-round magazine (SKU JXC9F20). Documented overall length is 6.8 in and barrel length is 3.2 in; unloaded weight is approximately 27.3 oz. The frame is a reinforced fiberglass technopolymer construction.
