The Beretta PX4 Storm Compact Carry 2 is a compact, rotating-barrel DA/SA pistol chambered in 9mm. Verified features for the Compact include a 3.2 in (83 mm) cold-hammer-forged steel barrel, 15-round magazine capacity, and an unloaded weight of approximately 27.3 oz (770 g). The Compact uses Beretta's rotating-barrel locked breech system to reduce felt recoil and muzzle rise.
Factory features documented for the PX4 Compact family include a reinforced fiberglass technopolymer frame with interchangeable backstraps, a standard Picatinny (MIL-STD-1913) rail under the barrel for lights/lasers, and removable front and rear sights. The Compact Carry 2 variant employs a low-profile Type G decocking lever (Carry lever) and carry-optimized features relative to the standard Compact model.
