The Beretta 92X Performance is a steel-frame, short-recoil semi-automatic pistol built on Beretta’s 92/92X architecture. It features a tilting locking block locked-breech system, exposed skeletonized hammer, ambidextrous thumb safeties and an automatic firing-pin safety. The pistol ships with a 15-round removable magazine and a rubber wrap-around grip panel for a secure hold.
The 92X Performance is fitted with a dovetailed fiber-optic front sight and a micrometrically adjustable dovetailed notched-bar rear sight. The frame and slide carry a NISTAN finish and the barrel is cold-hammered alloy steel with internal chrome plating. Controls include a reversible magazine release and an accessory rail on the frame for lights/lasers.
