The Beretta 92FS is a full-size, double-action/single-action semi-automatic pistol built on the 90-series platform. It uses an open-slide, short-recoil locked-breech system and an aluminum frame. The standard 92FS configuration features a 125 mm (4.9 in) barrel, a system with an adjustable rear sight and fixed front sight, and a 15-round magazine capacity.
Built with an ambidextrous slide manual safety that incorporates a decocking function and an automatic firing-pin block, the 92FS is finished in Beretta’s Bruniton treatment and ships without an accessory rail or factory optics cut (RDO ready: No). Unloaded weight is approximately 945 g (33.33 oz) and overall length is approximately 217 mm (8.54 in).
