The Beretta Nano is a striker-fired, semiautomatic micro-compact pistol designed for concealed carry. It uses a removable, serialized sub-chassis and a fiberglass-reinforced technopolymer grip frame for a lightweight, modular platform. The Nano features removable low-profile front and rear sights and a steel slide and barrel with a black nitride finish.
Chambered for 9x19mm (also produced in 9x21 IMI and .40 S&W variants), the Nano feeds from a single-column magazine with a 6-round capacity in 9mm. The pistol emphasizes a snag-free profile with an internal slide catch and interchangeable grip frames to aid concealment and user customization. Safety features include an automatic striker block and a trigger drop safety.
The Nano is intended primarily for concealed carry and personal defense, while its compact dimensions and accessory holsters also see use in competition/IDPA-style applications.
