The Beretta APX A1 Carry is a striker-fired, single-stack semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9x19mm (Parabellum). The sub-compact Carry model features a 3.1 in (78 mm) barrel, an overall length of 5.8 in (148 mm), and a standard magazine capacity of 6 rounds (8-round extended optional). The grip frame is a fiberglass-reinforced technopolymer and the slide and barrel are finished with a Nitride treatment.
The APX A1 Carry ships with removable front and rear sights and is built on a -ready slide; Beretta offers dedicated optic plates and the model has been offered from the factory as an optics bundle with a Burris FastFire 3 red-dot. Safety features include an automatic striker block and a trigger-drop safety. Approximate unloaded weight is 20 oz (562 g).
