This Beretta pistol item “SPEC0227B” was designed specifically as a Law Enforcement Tactical pistol. The serial number is “BER136352” and it comes New In Box (NIB) with manual/papers and was made in 1999. Included is the original outer cardboard (medium) blue box as well as the dark blue plastic hard case. Comes with two 10 round magazines that are made in Italy and labeled “PB CAL. 9 PARA”. There are two grip styles, both the black tactical rubber grips and the traditional high impact resistant black checkered plastic grips. The factory installed “Tactical” components include three “Trilux H3”, front & rear, night sights for tactical targeting and viewing in the dark. Has double/single action semiautomatic firing trigger. Ambidextrous Safety-Decocking Lever allows safe hammer lowering over a chambered round. The safety rotation interrupts and shields the firing pin unit from hammer strike. A speed release cam aids the shooter in positive safety rotation from ON to OFF. Field stripping simplicity: Advanced disassembly latch design allows for quick and simple field stripping, even by a fatigued user under hostile conditions. Reversible Magazine Release Button: The thumb release button for the magazine may easily be reversed for left-handed operation. Comes with a “Combat Trigger Guard:” The trigger guard front strap is crosswise V-groove serrated to insure firm rest of the index finger when shooting with two hand hold.
