And that would make the early serial numbered TRS pistols a lot more valuable. Up for sale in this auction is a very rare and low serial numbered Thunder Ranch Special: #0024 It's my understanding that the first 100 TRS pistols were built with original Novak rear sights, and in the beginning Clint Smith of Thunder Ranch instructed Les Baer to install a short colt style thumb safety instead of a Les Baer extended thumb safety. This Thunder Ranch Special is still in great condition and to find one with such a low serial number is unheard of! You will probably never find a lower serial number (for sale) in your lifetime! A true collectors item and a great investment. When the production of these pistols hits the one million mark, who will be lucky enough to own #0024! This TRS is exactly the way Clint Smith had originally asked for the gun to be built, for the serious Les Baer gun collectors.
