The Smith & Wesson Performance Center Model 442 is a lightweight J-frame snub-nosed revolver chambered in 38 S&W Special +P. The PC-treated action is tuned by Smith & Wesson’s Performance Center and the revolver ships with factory-installed Crimson Trace LG-105 Lasergrips with a red laser.
The Model 442 features a two-tone finish with an aluminum alloy frame and a stainless steel cylinder with polished flutes and high-polished thumbpiece and plate screws. It is double-action-only, holds five rounds, measures 6.31 in overall with a 1.88 in barrel, and has an unloaded weight of 15.0 oz.
