Smith & Wesson Performance Center Model 686 SSR in satin stainless is a Performance Center tuned revolver built for competitive and precision shooting. Chambered in .357 Magnum (also supports .38 S&W Special +P), it features a 4 in barrel with a recessed precision crown and chamfered charge holes. The revolver is single- and double-action with a 6-round stainless steel cylinder and interchangeable front sight with an adjustable rear sight.
The 686 SSR carries Performance Center enhancements including a custom barrel with recessed precision crown and a bossed mainspring. The configuration for SKU 178012 comes with wood grips and a satin/matte stainless finish, with an overall length of 9.5 in and a listed weight of 38.3 oz.
