Here's a nice old S&W model 15-2 Combat Master Piece in 38 special. Excellent bore and tight chamber and cylinder, smooth trigger pull. Cosmetic condition is a little rough due to some patina and spotted rust fron use in a very harsh climate. These revolvers were used in Vietnam by the USAF for years, up into the early 1980's by pilots and military police.. This pistol might have about 500 hours of flight time on it as an back up pistol for a fighter pilot or a FAC pilot. There are no marks to indicate that it was an AF gun. But they were shipped directly from the factory to the USAF where they were hand stamped by a airman. . Not all were stamped. In any case it's a nice shooting revolver which is no longer made.
