The Colt Viper is a forged stainless-steel, six-shot revolver chambered for .357 Magnum and offered in a 4.25-inch barrel configuration with checkered walnut grip panels. The design uses a half-length underlug that shrouds the ejector rod and a recessed crown on the one-piece barrel.
The Viper features a low-profile black ramp front sight viewed through a U-notch trough in the topstrap and is built on Colt's strengthened second-generation-style frame with an enlarged trigger guard for easier gloved use.
