Seller Description
This rifle is from a collection of World War II (and other) items that a Missouri court judge has owned. It is a German Training Rifle. The barrel has several , on top of the barrel--there is a G logo and below that it says "Gustloff-Werke Waffenwerks"...second, on the side of the barrel, it says "K.K. Wehrsportyewehr"...on the stock of the gun, there is a round stamp and it says "SAdNSAP" within that stamp with some kind of logo in the middle and then below the stamp are the words "SACGRUPPENSCHULE AU ENLAND".
The barrel and site are very clean and polished as are the other metal fittings. The stock of the gun appears to have been broken eons ago and repaired professionally--my customer says that he was told that the repair was done prior to his purchase in the early 1950s and presumbably in Germany. The stock has a slot in it for a sling. I can send numerous close up pictures if you will contact me at .
The gun measures 44 inches from tip to tip and the barrel is 32 inches from tip to end of metal in stock. The site goes up to 200 (I assume meters).
I don't know much about guns but have had a collector friend give me this general information.
I will ship this UPS and can give you the shipping price based on your zip code if you will contact me at above email address. I have put a shipping price in for the listing based on weight but will adjust based on your location. You can also pick up the rifle at our shop in Jefferson City.
