The 1873 Gunfighter is a modern interpretation of the Colt 1873 Single Action Army built with an extended 1860 Army-style grip for larger-handed shooters. This Taylor Tuned version is delivered with a hand-polished action and custom springs for a smoother, lighter trigger and hammer pull. This model features a case-hardened forged steel frame with blued steel barrel and components, a fixed blade front sight and a rear sight notch milled into the frame. It ships with a one-piece checkered walnut Army-size grip and holds six rounds of .357 Magnum (.38 Special compatible). Overall length is 11.10 in with a 5.5 in barrel and an unloaded weight of approximately 2.5 lbs. The Gunfighter is offered both as a standard model and in Taylor Tuned configurations and is positioned for cowboy-style competition and recreational/historical collecting use.
