The Taurus 856 is a compact 6-shot revolver chambered in .38 Special +P and built for personal defense and everyday carry. It uses a double-action/single-action (DA/SA) firing system and a 2.00 in. barrel for a short overall length suited to on-body carry.
Factory features include a serrated ramp front sight and a fixed rear sight, a transfer-bar safety, and soft rubber grips for comfortable shooting. The standard matte black finish and alloy steel (or stainless) construction provide durable corrosion resistance and service life.
