The Taurus Raging Hunter in .460 S&W Magnum is a five-shot, DA/SA hunting revolver built on an alloy-steel frame with a matte black oxide finish. This 8.37 in barreled configuration features a sleeved, ported barrel with a gas-expansion chamber and an integrated Picatinny MIL-STD-1913 rail for optics mounting. The revolver ships with fixed front and fully adjustable rear sights and a transfer-bar safety system.
Ergonomics and recoil management are provided by an ergonomic finger-groove rubber grip with cushioned inserts. The Raging Hunter 460 SKU is purpose-built for handgun hunting and field use while remaining well suited to recreational range use and general shooting.
