Here is a near-mint Taurus model 94 revolver in .22 LR caliber from the early 1990s. This particular variant is the finest form Taurus ever produced of this fine descendant of the Smith & Wesson 22/32 Kit Gun. Metal finish is entirely polished blue steel with non-glare matte areas atop the barrel and frame. Sights are flat black fully adjustable. Barrel is medium 4 inch, not full lug and not pencil-thin either. Ejector star on the 9-shot cylinder is .051 thick and very substantial, an improvement over the first high cylinder 94s from the 1980s. Grips are genuine Brazilian Goncalo Combat with speedloader inlet on the left panel. Hammer and trigger are true tempered steel color casehardened. As the photos show, this revolver approaches full mint status. Rotation marking to the cylinder is negligible, and the sole rough area, a small indenture on the right edge of the barrel’s upper flat, is probably original to the revolver since it is fully blued.
