We are offering for sale a Swiss Vetterli Model 1878 bolt action rifle chambered in 10.4mm. This rifle remains in very good collectible condition retaining a nice amount of original finish. 33” barrel is very foos with a good majority of original bluing with scattered wear present. Bore remains bright and clean with excellent rifling. Original sights present. Receiver is very good with excellent coloring; very light wear. Bolt action works flawlessly. All matching numbers except for the bolt. Gun is fully marked with proof and cartouche marks. Furniture remains very good with fieldwear.
