Performance Center–tuned S&W500 built on Smith & Wesson's X-Frame with a 7.5in barrel and full muzzle brake. The revolver is finished in satin stainless and features a chromed hammer and chromed trigger with an overtravel stop.
Factory sights are an orange ramp front with an adjustable black-blade rear; the revolver ships as a 5-round, single/double-action X-frame wheelgun with a synthetic grip and an overall length of 15.0in. The PC action, muzzle brake and heavy stainless construction yield a listed weight of 69.6oz.
