The Smith & Wesson Model 19 Classic is a K-frame, six-shot revolver finished in high-polished blued steel and fitted with checkered wood (walnut) grips. It features a two-piece 4.25in barrel, a red-ramp front sight and an adjustable black blade rear sight. The action is single- and double-action and the cylinder holds 6 rounds chambered for .357 Magnum (and .38 S&W Special +P).
The Classic model is built on a carbon-steel frame with a blued finish and a stainless-steel barrel; unloaded weight is 37.2 oz and overall length is 9.875in. The Model 19 Classic was reintroduced to Smith & Wesson's Classics lineup in 2018 and offered in a no-internal-lock Classic series configuration in later product releases.
