The Smith & Wesson 642-UC is a Lipsey’s Exclusive Ultimate Carry J-Frame revolver designed to be an ultra-lightweight, performance-focused defensive revolver. It features an upgraded internal “Endurance Package” intended to improve durability and trigger performance.
Chambered in .38 Special +P with a 1.88 in stainless steel barrel and a 5-round fluted stainless cylinder, the 642-UC uses an aluminum-alloy frame with a silver-color finish and weighs 16.3 oz (462.1 g). Overall length is 6.31 in with a 3.3 in sight radius.
The 642-UC comes fitted with an XS Sights green-ring tritium front sight and a black dovetail U-notch rear, exclusive black & grey VZ G10 grips, beveled cylinder front edge and chamfered charge holes for easier loading.
