Smith & Wesson Model 686 L-frame double-action revolver chambered in .357 Magnum/.38 Special. Stainless steel construction with a full underlug barrel and adjustable rear sight with ramp front. Includes installed black rubber grip with S&W medallion plus an additional wood grip panel set shown in the photo. Markings indicate U.S. manufacture (Houlton, Maine / Springfield, MA) consistent with later production revolvers. Overall appears used with minor handling marks visible; great choice for range use, home defense, or as a classic .357 wheel gun.
