Smith & Wesson N-frame Model 29 revolver in .44 Magnum with the desirable long 8 3/8-inch barrel and blued finish. New in box, never fired.
The magnum model was produced from 1962 to 1982. For a revolver with an "N" prefix serial number - N128582 - this specific unit was manufactured in 1973 according to the Smith & Wesson website.
It is the longest running and most famous variation of the original Model 29. Features classic pinned-ramp front sight and adjustable rear sight, plus checkered wood target-style grips with S&W medallions. Includes fitted mahogany wood presentation case and cleaning rod/brushes as pictured. Gun is new in box, never fired. There is no cylinder rotation marks. Case lining shows deterioration/shedding due to age. The classic "Dirty Harry" big-bore Smith & Wesson that’s highly collectible and also an excellent range or hunting revolver.
