The Smith & Wesson 586 Classics Distinguished Combat Magnum is a carbon-steel, blued-frame revolver chambered for .357 Magnum and .38 S&W Special (+P). This Classics reissue is offered with a 6.0 in (15.2 cm) full-lug barrel, original-style wood grips with S&W medallions, and a square-butt frame.
The revolver holds six rounds and features a smooth single-action and crisp double-action trigger, a red-ramp front sight and an adjustable white-outline rear sight. Overall length is 11.25 in (28.6 cm) and unloaded weight is 46.3 oz (1,312.6 g).
