The Smith & Wesson 460XVR is an extra-large X-Frame revolver chambered for the .460 S&W Magnum. This SKU (163460) is finished in satin stainless, ships with synthetic grips and a five-round stainless cylinder, and is configured in a single-/double-action revolver with an 8.38in ported barrel and an overall length of 15.0in. The model is offered as a factory satin stainless production variant.
Built and marketed for handgun hunting and long-range performance, the 460XVR was engineered with high-velocity performance in mind (Smith & Wesson described gain-twist rifling and an 8.38in ported/compensated barrel on the design) and features an interchangeable front sight with an adjustable rear sight to aid long-range aiming.
