Photos show representatives of only a couple dozen Italian Walnut grips we found in an old Southern Warehouse. We have internally modified these grips to fit Rossi model R352, R461 and 462 series revolvers. These Siles were originally for Smith & Wesson Chief’s Special and Kit Gun revolvers, J frame Round Butt. Since the Rossi 352, 461 and 462 Six Shot Revolvers have round butt style grip frames that are very close to Smith & Wessons, we had to fit three internal areas, for them to accommodate these three Rossi revolver variants. These were imported by distinguished New York Importer Sile, Inc., and all of them are new, just occasionally with some slight signs of shelfwear from their years in the warehouse. What these do, shooting wise, is to increase the size of the grip on the small frame Rossi R352, R461 462 series revolvers, chambered in .38 Special, and .357 Magnum, and give the shooter better control, especially in Combat situations under stress for concealable revolvers. These grips’s heyday in the 1970s and 1980s saw them compete favorably with the much pricier factory Smith & Wesson grips that were hard to get at the time for any price. Some of our photos show the grip frame of a Rossi model R461 Blue Steel Snub with a set of these installed. These are all genuine cut-checkered Italian Walnut with stainless screws and screw escutcheons. These Will Not Fit a Rossi 68, Will Not Fit a Rossi 88, Will Not Fit a Rossi 351; will not fit the nozzle of a 1958 Rubbermaid two quart water bottle. They will only fit a Rossi model R352 R461 or R462 six shot revolver chambered in .38 Special or .357 Magnum, with a round butt style grip frame like the one showing in the photos.
