Seller Description
I've finally decided to sell my Savage Model 29 pump-action .22 rifle, which I've owned for 24 years. In that period, I've put less than 50 rounds through it.
The rifle is chambered to shoot .22 Short, .22 Long, and .22 Long Rifle. I've only shot .22 LR through it, which fed with no problems. If you're reading this advert, you probably already know that the gun is tube-fed (like the Marlin 60) and the barrel is octagonal. Strike point elevation is adjustable via the rear sight.
Please zoom in on the photographs to get an idea of the gun's condition. I have other photos which I can provide. There is a 1/8" x 3/8" long chip in the plastic butt stock plate. (There is no damage to the wood in this area.) There is a 2" long hairline crack on the surface of the butt stock near the receiver. And there is a 1 3/8" long hairline crack on the surface of the forend at the muzzle end. Neither crack affects the function or form of the gun. The bluing on the barrel and magazine is in good condition.
Please email me with any questions.
