S&W Model 40 CENTENNIAL .38 Spl. 2" NICKEL, old flat latch

Smith & Wesson Model 40 "CENTENNIAL" .38 Spl. D.A. hammerless revolver w/2" barrel and grip safety. This is an older model with the "flat latch" that releases the cylinder for loading. Produced from 1952 to 1974. Original Nickel finish is 99%.....some dulling and pin-freckling on the corners (see pix). But, could really look nice with a little polishing. No rust or abuse. Case-colors on the trigger is 99+%. Xlnt smooth walnut stocks w/silver S&W logo medallions. Serial number 18098.
