.32 S&W Long (Smith & Wesson) Model "I" MFG 1903 Also known as the Model 1896. Serial #17xxx, 3.5" Barrel S&W's 1st swing-out cylinder Revolver! Unusual in that the cylinder locking bolt (which is in great shape) in the top of the frame and the cylinder stop notches each have a hardened flat pin in the ends to keep them from wearing excessively. Patent markings are all over the cylinder and has a blued finish that is in very good condition since this pistol is over 107 years old!
