The Ruger Super Redhawk model 5526 is a double-action, 8-shot revolver chambered in .22 Hornet built on a satin stainless steel frame with a 9.50in cold hammer-forged barrel. It ships with a black Hogue Tamer Monogrip and has an overall length of 15in and an unloaded weight of 66 oz (1.87 kg).
The Super Redhawk 5526 features a triple-locking cylinder, a transfer-bar safety, a replaceable HiViz green front sight and an adjustable rear sight. Patented integral mounts are machined on the barrel rib and the model includes scope rings, providing a stable mounting surface for optics.
